Atlas Copco acquired Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum company

Atlas Copco, a leading supplier of sustainable productivity solutions for China Construction Machinery Information

has agreed to acquire all vacuum businesses under OC Oerlikon group for 486million euros (4.52 billion Swedish kroner)

Oerlikon was founded in 1850. The company is located in Switzerland and listed on the six Swiss stock exchange. Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the vacuum business of Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum. The company's vacuum business is headquartered in Cologne, Germany, with 1600 employees. In 2014, Klaus mafi was the manufacturer of sample prototypes, with a total annual revenue of 390million Swiss francs (about 358million euros, 3335 million SEK)

"LEYBOLD will strengthen our technical level in advanced vacuum solutions," said Nico Delvaux, President of Atlas Copco Compressor technology business. "We welcome experienced and knowledgeable employees to join us."

the acquisition of Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum is another major step after Atlas Copco Group acquired Edwards group in 2014 and got involved in the vacuum solution business

the transaction adopts the all cash purchase method to improve the safety of food contact, and will use the existing funds of Atlas Copco. The acquisition is subject to the approval of relevant regulatory authorities and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016. The acquired business will be subordinate to the vacuum solutions department under the compressor technology business field
